Red Carpet reviews

X00129_9[1] X00050_9[1]It's the day after the Oscars, and everyone's a fashion critic -- with some people actually getting paid for it!  A quick review of fashion blogs, online magazines, newspaper articles and, OK, comments from the women a few desks away leaves me with these impressions:

Best supporting actress winner Penelope Cruz's couture gown circa 1950 was a hit with many. So were the gowns donned by Viola Davis (above right), Kate Winslet, Freida Pinto, Marisa Tomei, Anne Hathaway, Natalie Portman and Taraji Henson.

Not so great? Sarah Jessica Parker's Glenda-the-Good Witch number, for sure. Also Heidi Klum, Jessica Biel, Tilda Swinton (above left) and Goldie Hawn got some thumbs-down.

But it's not just the gowns people have been talking about. Amy Adams' necklace was awfully BIG. And Mickey Rourke wore a statement necklace of another sort -- a pendant with a photo of his recently deceased dog, Loki.

These are just to name a few. Share your comments here on last night's fashion hits and misses.
