Baskerville exits Channel 7
7 News reporter Aaron Baskerville has left the station to return to his native Chicago. He is joining CLTV, the 24-hour cable news operation in Chicago.
Besides the lure of home and a much bigger market, Baskerville has other family reasons for heading to the Windy City. His father, Steve, is a popular weatherman with the CBS affiliate there.
Baskerville's departure leaves the already thin reporting staff at 7 News in a more difficult situation. His position is expected to be filled, according to station sources.
