Shayna Slowly Exits Kitchen

It was the end of the line Tuesday for Buffalo caterer Shayna Rachilson-Zadok on the Fox reality series, "Hell's Kitchen."

Chef and host Gordon Ramsay dismissed her from the competition after an episode in which he criticized her for being too slow on the food line.

While talking directly to Rachilson-Zadok, Ramsay showed some compassion.

"A big heart, solid cook, yes," said Ramsay. "A little too slow. Go back to your (infant) daughter."

In her on-camera goodbye, Rachilson-Zadok said she expected "great things" to come from working on Ramsay's show.

"I'd be a liar if I said I'm glad to go home," she added. "No, I'm not glad to go home."

After she left, Ramsay was less complimentary.

"Shayna had a big heart," he said. "But at times I felt her heart wasn't here. It was back with her newborn baby. She made far too mistakes. That's why she's going back to something she's good at -- changing diapers."

Ouch.

Now Western New Yorkers can focus on the remaining local participant on the show, Bobby Anderson of Niagara Falls. Tuesday night, he had an easy assignment for a local chef -- cooking chicken wings.
