Owens Criticized by Teammate on Superstars
Yeah, you read that headline right. Buffalo Bills star Terrell Owens was on the receiving end of verbal abuse Tuesday night when he and his supermodel teammate on ABC's "Superstars" were the first pairing to be eliminated.
And after watching model Joanna Krupa lambast Owens' performance in a kayak and on an obstacle course, you certainly can understand why Owens' didn't invite Krupa to a Bills home game this season until she asked for an invite.
After Owens got caught in the netting in an obstacle course competition that put the team in a sudden-death elimination round, Krupa was blunt.
"Unbelievable," she said. "I don't want a teammate like that. Call yourself an athlete. What does he get a million for?"
When Owens tried to calm her down, Krupa used an expletive that was deleted and blamed him for the loss before adding: "Shut up. You kidding me."
She wasn't done. Owens did better on the obstacle course in the sudden death race, but Krupa couldn't keep the lead and she blamed him for their elimination.
Once again, Krupa went on the verbal attack. "So cocky," she told Owens. "For what? You got in the NFL."
His teammate's harsh criticism led Owens to respond: "I really feel bad for her boyfriend. I really feel bad for him."
Believe it or not, you had to feel badly for Owens, too. But let's think of the positives he got out of appearing on "Superstars." He left after only one taped show, which means he didn't wear himself out. The verbal abuse he received made him a sympathetic figure. And maybe Krupa's harsh criticism of a teammate will make Owens think about how he treats his own teammates if and when things go badly this season.
Well, we can only hope. What did you think of Krupa's verbal assaults? And what did you think of "Superstars"?
Frankly, I'm glad T.O. was eliminated so I won't have to watch it again.

I've never been a TO fan, even though I've always been an Eagles fan ... I must admit the model made him look good, and I agree with TO ... if she has a boyfriend he is in trouble.

i dont think this is the last of T.O, if you look carefully in the start of the show you see that they compete in more challenges, like a basketball game and a sprint on the beach probably a team decides to leave and they give T.o and Joanna another chance

I agree, the show was boring, but watching TO get called out was worth watching once!

As for the show, its not as good as i thought it would be. The commentator need to have more common sense when commenting especially in the beginning race.

the model on their is a loser she lost it for them and to be honest the show sucks if t.o. is gone thats the main reason i even watched it is to see how hed do and his team finished 4th in the standings by 20 the other team they faced tied for 5th soo its stupid that they wouldnt have the worse four teams go to the course what a dumb idea by the producer or whoever thought of that idea just flat out dumb they need t.o. and the hottest woman on the show

So far, TO has been a model teammate in Buffalo (yeah, it's still the offseason, though) and last night's show shows in in that same light that we've seen from him in Buffalo so far.It also shows Krupa as a stuck up prima donna

The show was way overhyped but the most entertaining part was watching T.O. throw the paddles after he lost the canoe race. How he acted like a child stomping around said he wasnt talking to anybody. Hopefully he sees how ridiculous he looks when he acts like that, and doesnt pout like a baby on One Bills Drive!

I was disappointed to see TO go and thought Joanna Krupa was a D-list celebrity with no class. I was glad that TO didn't go down to her level on national TV. Yeah, he got alittle hot headed at times, but you can tell he is a competitor and competes against himself, at least he didn't blame his team mate....

I don't watch all the garbage dished up by national TV.

I think the show was fixed from the beginning to have this woman blow up on TO the way he does on his teammates on the field. TO looked like he was going half speed in the obstacle course and besides what's she blowing up at he did give her a slight lead over Leslie going into her heat so she's the one who blew it in the end. TO is the only athlete (sorry LL the WNBA don't count) on the show who is still competing and is under a fairly hefty contract with the Bills. No way he risks that blowing out a knee for some reality show.
The fix was in from the beginning.

One can tell a lot was edited out. Very few soundbites of TO and KRUPA before the big showdow.
WHY?
ABC gets an Oscar for editing and show needs drama. I'm sure more will come to surface as THEY ARE NOT OUT! THEY LL BE BACK. ESPN SAID ON INTERVIEW SESSION WITH KRUPA THAT THE LL BE BACK NEXT WEEK!
