Going to the Extreme

You may have seen the item in today's paper about ABC expanding the Buffalo edition of "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" to a two-hour show that will air from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. Jan. 24 on WKBW-TV,Channel 7.

Why was the extra hour needed for the show that will features the Massachusetts Avenue home rebuilt for Delores Powell, a Jamaican immigrant, and her four children?

According to the ABC publicist who confirmed the date "Powell episode was just too big, too much great footage for one hour. Biggest volunteer turnout ever had. A LOT of work."

In other words, the episode sounds like it will be advertisment for the slogan, "Buffalo: The City of Good Neighbors."
