Ch.4's Shaw lands Louisville weather job

By Alan Pergament

It didn't take long for former Channel 4 meteorologist Bryan Shaw to land another job.

Shaw, who was let go by Channel 4 a few weeks ago, announced on his Facebook page that he has taken a job in Louisville, Ky. with WHAS-TV, an ABC affiliate.

He added that he begins his new job on July 7 and will become part of the station's expanded weather team.

According to one website, Louisville is the No. 49 TV market in the country, three spots ahead of Buffalo so Shaw becomes the latest former member of Channel 4's weather team to land in a bigger market. Though different websites place Buffalo and Louisville in different places, all agree that Louisville is a slightly bigger market.

Amelia Segal is now a weekend meteorologist in Washington, D.C. and Lindsay Schwarzwaelder is now in Austin, Texas. where is called Lindsay Riley.
