Niagara Falls lawmakers hear about Hyde Park ice pavilion work

Mayor Paul Dyster's administration is on tap to update city lawmakers today about another vacancy atop the city's engineering department.

Jeffrey Skurka was fired from the post of city engineer, the Niagara Gazette reported April 30.

**5:45 p.m. correction: There has been no update about the engineering vacancy. That was my mistake in reviewing the agenda.

Dyster and city officials are discussing various road improvement projects, as well as improvements to the ice rink at Hyde Park.

Here's the agenda for today's meetings: (Work session starts at 5 p.m. with the voting session at 6 p.m.)
