Four businesses in line for grants from City of Niagara Falls

A new pizzeria, a makeup studio, a tent and awning business and an existing pizza and sub shop may soon be getting some financial help from the City of Niagara Falls.

NFC Development Corp., the city's banking arm, is slated to vote on four grants totalling $45,000 when it meets this week.

Ventry's Pizza Shop on Buffalo Avenue, The Makeup Parlour and WNY Tent and Awning are on tap to each receive a $10,000 grant from the agency.

The proposed Mario's Pizza, to be located at 307 Prospect St., is in line for a $15,000 grant.

The meeting will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday in City Hall. Here's the full agenda:
