Second set of Niagara Falls streets to get repaved

A second round of street repaving and resurfacing in Niagara Falls is planned because the casino-cash dispute between the Seneca Nation of Indians and the state is over.

At today's news conference, Mayor Paul Dyster said another set of streets are in line for roadwork later this year. (In May, the city announced the first round of repaving. Read that list here.)

The following streets were announced today as part of the $1.5 million second round:

-Military Road (south of Niagara Falls Boulevard) from Scott Avenue to Cayuga Drive

-80th Street from Niagara Falls Boulevard to Frontier Avenue

-Colvin Boulevard

-In DeVeaux: VanRensselear, Chestnut, Chasm, Rankine, Maple and Vanderbilt

-19th Street from Pine Avenue to Niagara Street

-Weston Avenue from 22nd Street to Hyde Park Boulevard

-Cleveland Avenue from 18th Street to Hyde Park Boulevard
