Public meetings in Niagara Falls government this week

A “meet the candidates” night will be held at 6 p.m. Monday in the Rapids Theatre, 1711 Main St. All seven candidates for City Council have been invited. The event is free. Also this week:

• The board of trustees of Niagara Falls Public Library will meet at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the library, 1425 Main St.

• The School Board will hold an agenda review session at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the district’s central office, 630 66th St. The board’s regular meeting will follow at 7.

• A debate featuring the four Democratic candidates for City Council on the ballot in the September primary will be streamed on at 1 p.m. Friday.
