A night dedicated to images of pre-WWII LaSalle

A presentation and lecture on photographs of the LaSalle section of the city from before World War II will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1 in the LaSalle Library, 8728 Buffalo Ave. It is free and open to the public.

Teresa Lasher Winslow, an authority on the history of the former Village of LaSalle, will give the presentation on the photographs of the late Thomas Quinn, a 1939 LaSalle High School graduate.

The public and former residents of LaSalle are encouraged bring photographs and other memorabilia of the historic village. These items will be scanned and returned to the owners that night.

The lecture is sponsored by LaSalle PRIDE.
