City Council candidates forum slated for Oct. 30

A forum for City Council candidates will be held at 6 p.m. Oct. 30 in the second-floor auditorium of Earl W. Brydges Public Library, 1425 Main St.

The event is sponsored by the Niagara Falls Block Club Council, the Niagara Falls chapter of the NAACP and the Kiwanis Club of Niagara Falls.

It will be moderated by Corey Bower, an assistant professor of leadership and politics at Niagara University.

Three seats on the Council are open in November's election.

The invited candidates include the three winners of the Democratic primary - Andrew P. Touma, Charles A. Walker and Kristen M. Grandinetti; Republicans Vincent M. Sandonato and Russell F. Vesci; and Samuel F. Fruscione, who is running on the Conservative and Independence lines.
