New police cars on tonight's Niagara Falls City Council agenda

A proposal to spend $513,000 to buy 19 new police cars is slated for a vote at tonight's Niagara Falls City Council meeting.

The proposal calls for the purchase of 13 marked vehicles and 6 unmarked vehicles.

The police department has said no new vehicles have been bought since 2008, according to a memo from Mayor Paul A. Dyster.
