State looking to resurface two main roads in Niagara Falls

The state Department of Transportation is preparing to repave the entire stretch of Walnut and Ferry avenues.

The agency has asked permission of the Niagara Falls Water Board to move its manhole covers during the project, which calls for milling and paving the streets from Main Street to Packard Road.

No timetable was given by the agency.

An inquiry to an agency spokesperson on Friday was not acknowledged.
