State parks offers glimpse at redesign of Goat Island in Niagara Falls tonight

The public can look at plans to redesign Goat Island in Niagara Falls State Park tonight during an event at Conference & Event Center Niagara Falls, 101 Old Falls St.

Though there will be no formal presentation, state parks officials will be on hand to discuss renderings for Stedman’s Bluff, the plaza adjacent to the Cave of the Winds complex, the Gorge Rim Trails, Terrapin Point and the area immediately surrounding the Top of the Falls restaurant. There will also be information on parking lot No. 2 and plans to relocate the Park Police.

The event runs from 5 to 7 p.m.
