Memorial dedicates new $2 million facility

Officials at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center today dedicated a new $2 million facility for an outpatient behavioral health program that combines a variety of services under one roof.

The Niagara Wellness Connection Center, housed on the sixth floor of Memorial's Schoellkopf building, brings together behavioral health services with primary care, wellness services, and community and social support services, the hospital said in a news release.

The program is aimed at eliminating a gap in treatment for those suffering from mental health issues, who often have a co-occurring medical disorder, hospital officials said.
