International Business Times poll: Niagara Falls is No. 1 place every American should visit

"A reinvigorated Niagara Falls is finally peeking out of the mist."

That's a line by International Business Times travel editor Mark Johanson about the Falls, which sits atop its list of "the 20 places every American should visit."

Niagara Falls got the largest percentage of voters to vote for it in an online poll conducted by IBT. The online publication shows a photo of the Horseshoe Falls with its writeup.

The Grand Canyon was No. 2, with Yellowstone National Park coming in No. 3. Other places on the list include Pearl Harbor, Times Square and the Alaskan wilderness.
