Niagara Falls School District releases community survey

The Niagara Falls School District is asking for input from the community about how it's doing.

The survey, which can be completed online here, covers a variety of topics, including academics, safety, communication and the perception of the district.

"Using the results of the survey, the district will create action plans to address areas of concern that may arise from the information gathered, or increase efforts in areas that are working well," Superintendent Cynthia A. Bianco said in a written statement.

Hard copies of the survey may also be picked up at various locations, including all district schools; the district offices at 630 66th St.; New Hope Baptist Church, 1122 Buffalo Ave.; George Optical, 1523 Pine Ave,; Capital Cleaners, 1227 Main St.; Jocoy's, 6410 Packard Road; HANCI, 1302 Main St.; Niagara Falls Housing Authority, 744 Tenth St.; and both branches of the Niagara Falls Public Library.

Completed surveys may be returned to any school or the central offices.

Results of the survey will be compiled by Niagara University, the district said.
